JERRY NEIL MERKLIN Jerry Neil Merklin passed away at the age of 83 years on June 30, 2008 at his residence, Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, BC. Jerry was born on January 17, 1925 in Walla Walla, Washington. He became a mechanic and loved adventure. On August 23, 1969 he married Letha Blood in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Jerry was a member of the SDA Church and some of his hobbies included gardening, restoring old cars and visiting the family that he loved. Jerry is predeceased by his daughter in August of 1960. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Letha, son Daniel of Grande Prairie, AB, daughters Rebecca Synowec of Edmonton, AB, Judith Allen of College Place, WA and Yvonne Harbidge of Kaslo, BC and son Richard of Grande Prairie, AB. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday July 5, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at the Seventh day Adventist Church with Pastor Ian Cotton officiating.
