Located in a working cherry orchard, The Orchard Barn
(circa 1920), made of hand-hewn logs, was lovingly restored
into a one-of-a-kind studio and gallery. Enjoy the artwork,
gourds, weaving, beeswax candles, honey, soaps and lotions,
cherries and peaches in season. Go on an orchard tour,
or just sit in the barnyard with a cup of coffee.

Riverview Farms is a family run business.
We have been growing garlic for the past 2 years. Our
main variety of garlic is Italian Porcelain. This garlic
has a very large bulb – 3 to 4 inches, with 5 to
6 cloves per bulb. At the Hills Garlic Festival our garlic
wont he largest clove competition last year. We will be
harvesting our garlic crop at the end of July and early
August. The garlic will be ready for orders by mid August
to late November. The best time to plant for next year’s
crop is early October. |

 Creston
is known for excellent fruit because of higher elevation
and cool nights, it is one of the latest fruit growing
areas in North America. In the past 10 years, Creston
orchardists have entered into the late sweet cherry market
with 230 acres of Lapin and Sweetheart Cherries planted.
One half of the orchards are in production with the rest
to follow over the next 4 years.
