The Creston Golf Club has been recognized as one of the most beautiful, fun and challenging golf courses in the interior of BC. Professionally designed and immaculately maintained, this wonderful facility is playable from a number of tees ranging from 5300 to 6500 yards, but don't let the length fool you, the club has hosted some of the most prestigious championships in the province and offered a great, yet enjoyable test!

The club will host its fifth provincial golf championship in May 2006 when the BC High School Championships arrive in Creston. Participants will find the same wonderful distractions as the BC Ladies, BC Senior and BC Junior participants found in the past. The Selkirk Mountains tower above the town and the broad expanse of the Kootenay River Valley and Kootenay Lake stretch far into the horizon. With shimmering lakes and golden sand bunkers, the daily 'gallery' may consist of some of the abundant wildlife either observing from the fairways or lounging 'poolside'.
