The variety of quality shots you will hit at Creston makes the golf
experience most enjoyable. The par 3's range from 100 to 230 yards in
length, par 4's from 300 to 475 and par 5's from 480 to 550. Uphill,
downhill and even the odd side-hill lie will test your abilities. Be
very aware of the elevation changes and swirling breezes that prevail
and choose your club wisely, as there is usually a bunker, lake or some
other obstacle to receive your mistakes. Always have a good look at
the putting surfaces while approaching the greens as they may fool you
the first time you play here, and maybe even the second and third! A
visiting golf professional admitted after his first round last summer
"I had it going until I hit #13, I thought it was easy so I guess
I let my guard down, then I don't really know what happened! I can hardly
wait for another chance as it's such a fun place to play!" The
theme is similar for most people who play here for the first time, they
can hardly wait to get back at those two bad holes and many have stayed
an extra few days to try!
Following your first round
at Creston, relax on the clubhouse balcony, re-live the towering tee-shots
hit at #7 and #12, and plan your return trip. Located just 3 miles south
of Creston off Highway 21 on Mallory Road, the Creston Golf Club has
licensed dining and visitors are made most welcome. Bring your clubs,
your camera and your friends, you will be glad you did!
