| The Stone House, built by the late Rudolph Schultz, took more than 15 years to erect. It's unusual and varied construction, overlooking the Creston Valley suggests that it's builder intended it to be a showpiece. Visitors to the museum are welcome to enjoy a leisurely stroll or picnic during their visit.
The Creston & District Museum opened in September of 1982, and boasts one of the largest documented collections in the region. The Museum building, known as the "Stone House", has a history of its own, with its one-foot thick stone walls and it unique fireplaces. Some suggestion has been made that "Rudolph" comes to visit. |
